Congrats to Melanie for winning 2nd place in the Katz Symposium for her Biology Distinguished Majors Research!!

A BIG congrats go out to Sam and Akshay for winning 1st AND 2nd place (respectively) at the Fozdar Symposium. This symposium is for undergraduate Neuroscience majors at UVa doing distinguished major research. Look out world! 2 soon to be graduates doing amazing things!

Congrats to Emma and Matt for receiving Schwager Scholarships! These awards will support their summer research projects in the lab! 

Big CONGRATS go out to Evan for receiving a 2019 NIG-JOINT research grant which will fund his travel to Japan to work with the Kawakami Lab to identify novel transgenic fish lines he can use in his PhD work! We're very excited to see what new science Evan will bring back with him and hear about his amazing travels in Japan!
